Add Text to PDF

Type text anywhere on a PDF page, in the font, size and color you choose. Free, and it runs on your device.

Add Text to PDF lets you write on a document without printing it: fill in a form that has no fields, add a note, a date or an address, or label a drawing. Tap where the text should start, type it, then choose the font, size, color and bold. Drag the text to fine-tune its position, and add as many pieces of text on as many pages as you need. The text you add is real PDF text, so it stays sharp and can be searched. Everything happens inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.

Questions

Can I fill in a form that has no fields?

Yes. Tap on each blank line and type. For PDFs with real form fields, Fill PDF Form is quicker.

Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?

Not directly. Cover it with Whiteout and type the new text on top. The old text stays in the file underneath, so use Redact for anything private.

Can I write on several pages?

Yes. Switch pages with the arrows above the page; your additions on each page are kept.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and saved in your browser, so it stays on your device.
