Booklet Maker

Rearrange a PDF into booklet order so you can print it double-sided, fold it and staple it. Free, on your device.

Booklet Maker puts the pages of a PDF in the order needed for a folded booklet (saddle stitch). Two pages go on each side of a sheet, so when you print double-sided, fold the stack in half and staple along the fold, the pages read in order. Blank pages are added at the end when the page count isn’t a multiple of 4. Choose A4, Letter, A3 or Tabloid paper, or keep the pages at full size, and right-hand binding for Japanese or Arabic. Pages stay as sharp vector content.

Questions

How do I print the booklet?

Print the downloaded PDF double-sided with “Flip on short edge”, at actual size. Keep the sheets in order, fold the stack in half and staple along the fold.

Why were blank pages added?

Each sheet holds 4 pages (2 on each side), so the page count is rounded up to a multiple of 4. The blanks go at the end.

Will my pages be smaller?

On the same paper size, yes: two pages share one side, so A4 pages print at A5 size. Choose “Keep page size” or larger paper such as A3 to keep them at full size.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The booklet is made on your device.
