Edit PDF
Add text, images, highlights, drawings, shapes and links to a PDF, or white out and redact parts of it. Free, and it runs on your device.
Edit PDF opens your document page by page and lets you add to it: type text in any size and color, place a logo or stamp, highlight or underline lines, draw freehand, add boxes, circles and arrows, and make areas open a website. Whiteout covers what you don't want to show, and Redact removes private details from the file for good. Move, resize and delete what you added, undo any step, then download the edited PDF. Everything happens inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.

What it does
- Everything in one editor
- Text, images, highlights, drawings, shapes, links, whiteout and redaction are all in the same editor, so you can combine them.
- Undo and redo
- Move, resize or delete anything you added, and undo a step if you change your mind.
- Real redaction
- Redacted areas are removed from the file, not just covered.
- Private editing
- The PDF is edited on your device and never uploaded.
Questions
Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?
Not directly. Cover it with Whiteout and type the new text on top. The old text stays in the file underneath, so use Redact for anything private.
Is the text I add searchable?
Yes. Text you type is real PDF text, so it can be selected, searched and copied, except on pages you redact.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap and drag with your finger; drawing works with a finger or a stylus.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened and saved in your browser, so it stays on your device.
