Scan to PDF

Turn phone photos of paper pages into a clean, straight PDF. Edges are found for you. Free, and nothing is uploaded.

Scan to PDF turns photos of documents, receipts, letters or notes into a PDF that looks scanned. It finds the edges of each page, straightens pages photographed at an angle, and evens out shadows and uneven light so the paper comes out white. Choose color, grayscale or black and white, A4, Letter or the page's own shape, put the pages in order and download one PDF. If an edge isn't found, drag the corners into place. Everything happens on your device.

Questions

Do I need an app?

No. Open this page on your phone, add photos of the pages, and download the PDF.

Can I search or copy the text in the PDF?

Not straight away: the pages are pictures. Run the PDF through OCR PDF to add a text layer you can search and copy.

Which look should I choose?

Color keeps stamps, signatures and highlights. Grayscale suits most text. Black & white makes the smallest files, but can lose faint or very small text.

What if the page isn't found?

The whole photo is used and nothing is cut off. Drag the four corners onto the page's corners, or tap Find the edges again.
