Sign PDF

Draw, type or upload your signature and place it on any page of a PDF. It runs on your device.

Sign PDF puts your handwritten signature on a document without printing and scanning it. Draw the signature with a mouse, finger or stylus, type your name, or use a photo of your signature, whose white background can be made transparent. Then choose the page, set the size, and drag the signature into place or use the position sliders. The signature is added in your browser, so the document and your signature are never uploaded.

Questions

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

It adds an image of your signature, like signing on paper. It is not a certified digital signature with a certificate. Many everyday forms accept it, but contracts that require a certified electronic signature need a dedicated signing service.

Can I sign on more than one page?

Sign one page, download, then open the signed PDF again and place the signature on the next page.

Is my signature saved anywhere?

No. It exists only in your browser while the page is open and inside the PDF you download.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

Not yet. If a PDF needs a password to open, the tool tells you. Open it in a PDF reader with the password, save a copy without it, and use that copy.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and changed by your browser on your device, so contracts, statements and other private documents never leave it.
