Watermark PDF

Stamp text or a logo on PDF pages, then drag it into place. It runs on your device.

Watermark PDF adds a stamp such as CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, your name or your logo to the pages of a PDF. Type the text in any language or choose a logo image, then set its size, opacity and angle and drag it to where you want it on the page preview, or use the position sliders. Apply it to every page or to a range of pages. The watermark is added in your browser, so the document is never uploaded.

The text is drawn as an image, so every script and accent appears correctly.

Use a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG logo.
Drag into place
Move the watermark on the page preview, or use sliders that also work with a keyboard.
Private
The watermark is added on your device; nothing is uploaded.

Questions

Can the watermark be removed later?

It is added as an image on top of the page. Someone with a PDF editor could still remove it, so a watermark discourages copying rather than preventing it.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Choose Pages and enter a range such as 1-3, 5.

Does the watermark cover the text?

Lower the opacity to keep the page readable. 15–30% is typical for diagonal watermarks.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

Not yet. If a PDF needs a password to open, the tool tells you. Open it in a PDF reader with the password, save a copy without it, and use that copy.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and changed by your browser on your device, so contracts, statements and other private documents never leave it.
