This tool uses our server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted as soon as the result comes back. It is never stored or shared. How files are handled
Word to PDF turns Word documents into a PDF that looks the same on every device and is ready to email, print or upload to a portal. It accepts DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF or TXT. Headers, footers, page numbers, tables and images are kept. The conversion uses LibreOffice on our server: your file is sent over an encrypted connection and deleted as soon as the PDF comes back.

Questions
Will my PDF look exactly like the original?
For most documents, yes. Rare fonts that aren't installed on the server are replaced by similar ones, and some very complex layouts can shift slightly. Check the PDF before sending it.
Do tracked changes and comments appear in the PDF?
The document is converted as it is shown when opened, so accept or reject tracked changes first if you don't want them visible.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes. This tool needs our server, so the file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted as soon as the result is sent back. It is never stored, shared or looked at. Most other tools on this site run entirely in your browser.
Is there a size limit?
Files can be up to 30 MB. Very large or complex files can take up to a couple of minutes.
