Image Analyzer
See an image's dimensions, file size, aspect ratio, print size and camera EXIF data, with a warning for GPS location.
Image Analyzer shows the technical details of an image file without changing it. It reports the file size, format, pixel dimensions, aspect ratio, megapixels and whether the image has transparency. For photos, it also reads camera EXIF data such as camera model, lens, exposure, ISO, date taken and GPS location, and warns you when a photo reveals where it was taken.

Questions
How do I see the EXIF data of a photo?
Open the photo here and look at the Camera & EXIF Metadata section. If it says there is no EXIF metadata, the file was saved without it, which is common for screenshots and images downloaded from social media.
How can I tell if a photo shows where it was taken?
If the photo contains GPS coordinates, the analyzer shows them and displays a warning. Click Remove metadata to create a copy without the location.
Which files contain EXIF data?
Photos from phones and cameras in JPG and HEIC format usually do. WebP and AVIF files can contain it too, while screenshots and many exported or edited images have little or none.
What does the print size at 300 DPI mean?
It is the size of a print at 300 dots per inch, a common quality for photo prints. For example, a 3000 × 2000 pixel image prints at about 10 × 6.7 inches.
Is the color depth value exact?
It is based on the format and on whether the image has transparency (24-bit RGB or 32-bit RGBA). It does not detect 16-bit or HDR images.
