Questions
What size should my picture be?
At least 1024 × 1024 px, square, for a sharp App Store icon.
Why do iOS icons have a background?
Apple doesn’t accept transparent app icons, so transparency is filled with the background color.
What are adaptive and maskable icons?
Icons whose shape is set by the phone or browser (circle, squircle). The artwork stays in the centre so nothing is cut off.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. It’s processed on your device and never leaves it.
