Duplicate Photo Finder
Find duplicate and near-duplicate photos, including resized and recompressed copies. Free, and nothing is uploaded.
Duplicate Photo Finder compares a set of photos and groups the ones that are copies of each other: identical files, re-saved copies, and resized or recompressed versions such as photos sent through a chat app. The similar setting also finds near-identical shots like bursts. In each group, the largest, least compressed copy is kept by default and you can change which ones to keep. Download the photos without duplicates as a ZIP, or a list to delete them yourself. Photos are compared on your device and never uploaded.

Questions
Can it delete my duplicates?
A website can't delete files on your device. Download the photos without duplicates as a ZIP, or use the list to delete the extra copies yourself.
How does it know two photos are the same?
It makes a small fingerprint of what each photo looks like, so a resized or recompressed copy still matches. Identical files are matched exactly.
How many photos can I check?
Hundreds at a time on most computers. Each photo is shrunk to a tiny fingerprint right after it's read, so memory stays low.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It's processed on your device and never leaves it.
