EXIF Viewer
See the hidden metadata in a photo: camera, lens, settings, date taken and GPS location. Free, and the file stays on your device.
EXIF Viewer shows the information cameras and phones store inside a photo. A summary gives the camera and lens, the exposure settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO and focal length), when it was taken and with what software, and the GPS location if one was recorded, with a link to see it on a map. Every field is listed by section: EXIF, GPS, IPTC captions and rights, XMP and the color profile. Download it all as JSON, or remove it with Remove Image Metadata.

Questions
Why is there no metadata?
Many apps and websites remove it when saving or sharing, and screenshots usually have none.
Can others see where my photo was taken?
If it has GPS data, yes, from the original file. Remove it with Remove Image Metadata before sharing.
Is my location sent anywhere?
No. The map link opens OpenStreetMap only if you click it.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. It’s processed on your device and never leaves it.
