Instagram Story Resizer
Make a picture 1080 × 1920 for Stories, Reels and TikTok. Free, and it runs on your device.
Instagram Story Resizer turns any picture into the tall 1080 × 1920 shape used by Stories, Reels and TikTok. A dashed guide shows where the app's own buttons and caption sit, so you can keep faces and text clear of them. Wide photos can sit whole on a blurred copy of themselves instead of being cropped.

Questions
What size is an Instagram Story?
1080 × 1920 pixels, a 9:16 shape. Reels and TikTok use the same shape.
What is the safe area?
The middle of the frame. About 250 pixels at the top and about 340 at the bottom can be covered by your profile name, buttons and caption, so avoid putting text there.
Will the dashed box show in my picture?
No. It only appears in the preview and is never saved.
