Passport Photo Maker

Make a passport or visa photo at the right size, with an optional plain background, and print several on one sheet.

Passport Photo Maker turns an ordinary photo into a passport, visa or ID photo at the exact size you need: 35 × 45 mm, 2 × 2 inches, 33 × 48 mm, or a custom size. Move and zoom the photo until the top of the head and the chin sit on the guide lines, replace the background with plain white, light grey or light blue if you need to, and download one photo at 300 DPI or a print sheet for 4 × 6 inch photo paper or A4, with lines to cut along. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded.

Questions

Will my photo be accepted?

That depends on the office you apply to. Each country sets rules for size, head position, background, expression and glasses. This tool gets the size and layout right; check the official rules before printing.

How do I print the sheet at the right size?

Print at 100% (actual size), not “fit to page”. The PDF option uses the exact paper size, so the photos print at their real size on any printer.

What resolution are the photos?

300 DPI, the standard for photo printing. A 35 × 45 mm photo is 413 × 531 pixels.

How does the background replacement work?

An AI model downloads once (about 16 MB) and runs in your browser to separate you from the background. Check the edges around the hair before printing.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is processed in your browser on your device, and nothing is sent to a server.
