Poster Splitter

Split a picture over several pages and print it on a normal printer to make a large poster. Free, on your device.

Poster Splitter enlarges a picture across several A4, Letter or A3 pages, so you can print a big poster on an ordinary printer and assemble it. Choose how many pages across; the number of rows follows from the picture’s shape. Pages overlap by the amount you choose so you can glue them, and each page has cut marks and a label such as A1 or B2 to show where it goes. The tool shows the final poster size and warns when the picture will look soft at that size.

Questions

How do I put the poster together?

Print at actual size. Trim the white border on the edges that overlap a neighbour, line up the overlap and glue or tape the pages: A1, A2… along the top row, B1, B2… below.

How big can the poster be?

Up to 10 pages across; the height depends on the picture. For a sharp result, aim for at least 100 pixels per inch at the final size. The tool warns when it’s lower.

Why is there a white border?

Most printers can’t print to the edge of the paper. The border keeps the picture inside the printable area and holds the cut marks and labels.

Is my picture uploaded?

No. The PDF is made on your device.
