Sharpen Image
Make a soft photo crisper and check the result at full size before you download. Free, on your device.
Sharpen Image makes edges and fine detail crisper in photos that look a little soft, from a phone camera, a resized picture or a slightly missed focus. Choose the strength, the size of the detail to bring out, and how much smooth areas such as skin and sky are protected. A side-by-side view at 100% shows exactly what changes, since sharpening can't be judged from a small preview. Only brightness is sharpened, so no colored fringes appear, and the photo keeps its format.

Questions
Can it fix a very blurry photo?
No tool can bring back detail that was never captured. Sharpening helps photos that are slightly soft; a badly out-of-focus or shaken photo will only look a little crisper.
What settings should I use?
Start with the defaults. Use a small detail size for fine things like hair and text, and raise “Protect smooth areas” if skin or sky starts to look grainy.
Will the file get much bigger?
A little: crisper detail takes slightly more space in a JPG. The photo keeps its format and size in pixels.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It's processed on your device and never leaves it.
