AVIF to PNG
Convert AVIF images to lossless PNG, keeping transparency, for editing and design. The conversion runs on your device.
AVIF images are small and sharp, but many editors, design tools and older apps can't open them. AVIF to PNG converts the image to PNG, a lossless format that keeps transparent areas, so it is a good choice for logos, graphics and anything you will edit further. The conversion happens inside your browser, so the image never leaves your device. For photos you want to share, AVIF to JPG gives smaller files.

Questions
Why is the PNG so much bigger than the AVIF?
AVIF uses very efficient lossy compression, while PNG is lossless and stores far more data. A PNG can easily be ten times the size of the AVIF.
Does the PNG keep transparency?
Yes. If the AVIF has transparent areas, they stay transparent in the PNG.
PNG or JPG: which should I choose?
Choose PNG for graphics, transparency or further editing. Choose JPG for photos you will share or upload, because the files are much smaller.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the image stays on your device.
