OCR Multiple Images
Extract text from many images at once, in 10 languages, and download it as one text file or a file per image. Free.
OCR Multiple Images reads the text in a set of images in one go: photos of documents, screenshots, scans or receipts. Choose the language, and for photos of paper pages, have each page found and straightened first, which makes reading far more accurate when a photo was taken at an angle. Copy each text, or download everything as one text file or a ZIP with a text file per image. The reading happens on your device, so your images aren't uploaded.

Questions
How accurate is it?
Clear printed text reads very well. Handwriting, very small text and blurry photos read poorly; check names, numbers and amounts before you use them.
When should I tick “photos of paper pages”?
When the images are photos of documents taken with a phone, especially at an angle. Leave it off for screenshots and scans, which are already flat.
Can I get a searchable PDF instead?
Yes: put the images into a PDF with Scan to PDF or JPG to PDF, then use OCR PDF.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The text is read on your device; only the language data is downloaded, once.
