TIFF to JPG
Convert TIFF scans and images to small JPG files that open anywhere. The conversion runs on your device.
TIFF is the format many scanners, fax programs, cameras and print workflows produce. The files are often large, and Chrome, Edge, Firefox and most websites can't show them. TIFF to JPG converts the image to JPG, usually a fraction of the size, with the quality you choose. Compressed TIFFs, including black-and-white fax files, work too. If the file has several pages, the first page is converted; TIFF to PDF keeps every page. The conversion happens inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device.

Questions
Why can't my browser open TIFF files?
Of the major browsers, only Safari shows TIFF. Chrome, Edge and Firefox don't, so this tool decodes the file itself, on your device.
What happens to a multi-page TIFF?
The first page is converted. To keep every page, use TIFF to PDF, which makes one PDF page per TIFF page.
Is a very large scan resized?
Pages larger than about 16 megapixels, such as 4,000 × 4,000 pixels, are reduced to that size so every browser, iPhones included, can process them. Normal scans and photos are not resized.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The TIFF is decoded and converted in your browser, so it stays on your device.
